Have merino wool socks these are on par with them, cheaper and don't slip around in my golf shoes like the merino's, definitely recommend and would buy again , very happy

The BEST socks for Adventure Motorcycling. Wear them during the day, air them out at night, no smell! Wear them the next day etc etc. Love them!

The Alpaca socks have a very rough chaffing feel on the bottom of my the sole of my feet. Therefore I have to wear another pair of socks beneath them to prevent the chaffing feel. Also the Alpaca socks alone do not keep my feet warm as advertised. It takes the 2nd pair of socks that I mentioned above and toes warmers. I will put up with having to wear the 2nd pair of socks and the toe warmers. Additionally, I had to order a 1/2 size larger sneaker to wear because my foot with the 2nd pair of socks and toe warmers would not comfortably fit into my current sneakers. So I had to make 3 adjustments in order for the Alpaca socks to keep my feet warm. I did not anticipate that I would have to make these additional adjustments and incur the additional cost to keep my feet warm wearing the Alpaca socks especially given the high price tag of the Alpaca socks and their advertised claim for keeping feet warm.
Wow ! These socks are continuesly soothing to wear. An soft light feeling of relief that relaxes your mind. Bought them for myself but ended up sharing with my friends. Now I need to order more. Highly recommend the Summit socks.
